If you’ve been reading the MacFarland Ranch books for a while, you already know some of the people who belong here—even if you didn’t know the ranch had a name yet.

Kitty’s Creek Ranch belongs to Jim Sheridan, the kind old rancher who has wandered through more than a few books over the years. It’s one of the largest ranches in Paradise Valley, and Jim has spent a lifetime building far more than a successful operation.

He also raised five boys.

Brody, Brad, Boone, Banner, and Brooks grew up as brothers under Jim’s roof before heading out into the valley to make lives of their own.

You may already know Brody—he's the foreman at Trip's ranch. He'll get his story with Brooke, who is Blane’s younger sister.

Brooke had a crush on him years ago, when she was far too young and he was old enough to know better. Back then, Brody did exactly the right thing and pretended not to notice.

Now Brooke’s all grown up—and timing may be about to become a problem all over again.
Their story, The Wrong Kind of Timing, will be the first book in the new five-book Kitty’s Creek Ranch series.

You may also have met the other brothers along the way. Boone works for Ford MacFarland, Brad for Mav, Brooks works alongside Tanner at the MacFarland Ranch stud, and Banner stayed closer to home at Jim’s ranch.

Now it’s time to bring them out of the background.
