I'm giving away another set of signed paperbacks of the Remington Ranch series. To enter, leave me a comment and let me know how impatient you are - or aren't - to get to the new cowboy series. These are a few of the questions I'm curious about, but feel free to let me know whatever else you're thinking, too. Do you like rotating through the different series or would you rather go through one series then start another? Do you mind waiting for more cowboys - or are you eager to get to their stories? When we do get to them, would you rather we alternate their stories with the other series or would you like to focus on them for a while? I'll announce the winner in the newsletter in the middle of October - so make sure you're signed up to receive it!

I like going through one or two series at a time. Maybe with some single stories thrown in otherwise I lose track and have to go back and reread .

I prefer a series at a time. And I love your idea of 4 at once as I get so invested in the characters that go from one book immediately into the next. I am also a fast reader and easily read a book a night. Right now I have been waiting for almost a year for the final book in a series because the author has been working on a different series. I hate that. In the meantime I have moved on. Hard to sometimes to track when more of a series comes out if significant time between books. If I get involved move from one to the other until I have read them all.

I much prefer to go through 1 series at a time. If I know there are more coming I will often wait to start reading the books until the series is finished or there's multiple books because I will otherwise feel the need to read from the start again. With so many books on my to read list I feel like it's a waste of my limited reading time. Thanks for asking

Not entering because I already have Shane. I normally like reading one series at a time, but it doesn’t bother me to have several going at once. I would love to go back to Montana and meet some new cowboys but it’s okay to mix it up with the other series. Tell the voices to take turns!

Normally I prefer to read one series from start to finish, that way I don’t get totally mixed up with characters, locations etc. Although if another series is based on connecting characters and situations occurring concurrently then I don’t mind if the books are released based on a timeline of events.

One series at a time, please! In addition, would you please number your books so that Amazon doesn't get to change them around and publish them under another name!! I am infuriated when I find out that I am reading out of sequence or rereading the same book under another title. As long as the series is named, i.e. Summer Lake but then we get Summer Lake Silver....confusing. I read all of the Remington series and loved each one! Being from Wyoming, I love my cowboys of the west!

I am torn because I feel both ways. I like to read a series in order but sometimes I find that if I read too many books in the same series I get a little bored. I love the cowboys and I really enjoy the lake too. Maybe books in groups of three would be good, enough to really get into the series but not get bored. I love your books and really enjoy every one I read. Thank you for the opportunity to interact with you.

And the way you intertwine the characters from one series to another, we always get a glimpse of out favorites from time to time. So I prefer maybe finish Summer Lakes series and then bring me some HOT COWBOYS! I do like when you mix it up a little, just because I hate saying goodbye to a character forever! I usually get so caught up in a series that I want to finish it. If I wait too long, I tend to forget some details and then have to go back to the previous books in the series. Other times, if I have to wait too long, I will start another book/series and forget to go back to the first one.

I was always one to read an entire series (or as many book as there were at the time) from start to finish, but about 6 months ago, I decided my "TBR" list had totally blown out of proportion, so I started putting a few series on my shelf upstairs, and reading one or two books, then moving on to another series, then I'd go back. The most I have going at one time is 3 series though; otherwise it can get confusing.

If I don't sign up for newsletters, you can forget it! I am a fast reader and go through a minimum of 5 books a week . Had to get KU because it was getting pretty costly! HA! I don't mind switching between series if the books are close together, let's say a few months apart and don't have a million questions brought and left to be answered at the end. I don't mind one or two questions that affect all the characters but most of the individual stories should have some conclusion so that there's still something unanswered but not a complete story line left hanging.

Honestly I love to read these in the order they demand to be written. It gives a chance to see characters we fell in love with at a future point while meeting or learning more about the central couple. It makes it more organic. People drift in and out of you life and you just get caught up when you see each other again.

In a perfect world, I would read a whole series at once. It isn’t possible to read an old series all the time. I am always reading different authors and series one after another.

I have enjoyed reading as many of your books as I have time for. I look forward to the day I fully retire and can read more adult stories. I have read the whole Summer Lake Series and a couple of other books from other series. I prefer reading a series all at once if I can afford to buy the books. Thank you for sharing your gift with all of us.

I enjoy reading the books as you write them! All of your characters are so well intertwined and memorable that the books are understandable on their own. They are best as the set, but can each stand alone. However you publish them I will be purchasing them. What works for you should work for your fans as well. This far into your series, please don't change to satisfy us. We have been with you this long and it has worked so far. I don't see the need to change.

I've been known to start a series in the middle - because I didn't realize it WAS a series. But then I just get the early books and read thru.

I loved the Remington boys and another cowboy story would be great when it arrives.

I started with the Remington Series and it got me hooked on all of your books. I love them all. I like the change in the series for reading order as it keeps me interested. There is always hints of connections between them all anyway. All of the books are too hard to put down and get read in a day. Gives me something to hide in and enjoy.

I love all your books, started with the lake which is my favourite, and up to date with all of them.

I miss the cowboys so much. I have a couple of authors I follow who are writing multiple stories and put out a new one each year so I love multiple worlds and follow it well. I actually have more trouble with missing a certain world and it takes a back burner for too long. I think most authors think like you do and it's important to answer when the story calls. Granted I have a butterfly brain also.:) I really hope to finally get more from Montana. I really miss it.
