I'm giving away another set of signed paperbacks of the Remington Ranch series.
To enter, leave me a comment and let me know how impatient you are - or aren't - to get to the new cowboy series.
These are a few of the questions I'm curious about, but feel free to let me know whatever else you're thinking, too.
Do you like rotating through the different series or would you rather go through one series then start another?
Do you mind waiting for more cowboys - or are you eager to get to their stories?
When we do get to them, would you rather we alternate their stories with the other series or would you like to focus on them for a while?
I'll announce the winner in the newsletter in the middle of October - so make sure you're signed up to receive it!
Instead of disappearing completely between new releases, I'm trying to be more sociable. So, I'm curious - what would you like to see from me?
I have this scheduling calendar thing (lol - we'll see how long that lasts!) and it suggests all kinds of different categories that people like seeing on social media.
I don't like most of them! I'd rather hear from you directly. So, tell me; would you like to see more about what I'm writing, more giveaways, more jokes and quotes - more Murphy pics? Or something else?
Leave me a comment below with your suggestions, and I'll pick a winner at the beginning of October to receive a full paperback set of the original Summer Lake series.
I'll announce the winner in the newsletter, so make sure you're signed up here.
A Dream too Far is up for preorder! Yay!

And I thought we could have a little fun with this month's giveaway. It was pointed out to me that on this (lovely) cover, there is something that not everyone might want to see. If you look just above the EA in the word Dream, you'll see the offending - or enticing, depending on your taste - point.
Go on, I'll wait here while you scroll back up to take a look.
Did you see it? Do you mind it? Do you like it? I'll be honest, I hadn't even noticed it. But once it was mentioned, it made me curious. To nipple or not to nipple, that is the question - is it nobler for our art .... no, I'll stop. It's just a bit of fun - and an excuse to give away a signed copy of the paperback when it's ready. To enter, all you need to do is leave me a comment below and tell me - should it stay or should it go?
The winner will be announced in the newsletter at the beginning of September - so make you're signed up to receive it - you can do that here
I'm still plugging away trying to get the hang of my dictation software. It's getting better - maybe that should be I'm getting better, getting the hang of it. The program is called Dragon and it's very clever, really. I'd go as far as to say I'm making friends with my Dragon now and it's about time he had a name.
I thought it'd be fun for this month's giveaway to see if you can come up with a name for him. So, for your chance to win a signed paperback copy of one of my books - the winner gets to choose which - leave me a comment with a name suggestion. What do you think he should be called?
I'll pick the winner next month - make sure you're signed up for the newsletter as I'll announce the winner there.
Well, it's taken me a while longer than I'd planned, but Bring on the Night is almost ready and I plan to release next Friday - June 21st. I hope you're going to love this one as much as I do. Autumn and Matt have both been around for a while and shown up across a couple of series, but it took them a long time to be ready for their story - well, to be fair, Matt would have been happy to dive in from the first time we met him, but Autumn took some persuading - I hope you'll enjoy seeing how Matt goes about finally winning her over.
I'll be giving away a signed paperback copy in the newsletter at the beginning of July. For your chance to win, leave me a comment below and tell me which of these books you'd be most interested to read.
I've committed to releasing three more books this year:
Summer Lake Silver 2- Seymour and Chris - coming August 24th.
Summer Lake Seasons 3 - Logan and Roxy - coming in late October.
Love in Nashville 2 - I'll tell you who after you've read Autumn and Matt ;0) - coming in December.
BUT - I have a feeling I'll sneak one more book in there somewhere before the year is over and I wondered who you'd be most interested in. No promises - you know I can only do what the voices in my head tell me to do ;0) BUT these three stories are all wanting to get out into the world. I want to write them ALL, but if I only get to one, which one would you like to see first?
1) Spider. You met him in the Davenports series. He's Grace's friend who grew up in the foster care system. He's not part of the Davenport family, and he's no billionaire, but he needs a book. A bearded, tattooed, tough guy isn't my usual leading man, but if you've met him you know he's so much more than that description might lead you to believe.
2) Grady. You met him in the Hamiltons series. He works for Molly at her restaurant. I know he caught a lot of readers' attention. He seemed like just a fun-loving, partying, surfer-type guy, but then we learned that he was about to take on guardianship of his niece - he has a lot of story to tell and I can't wait to write it.
3) Leanne and Ryan. You met them back in the early Summer Lake books. They're friends of Missy's Dan and they have a lot of history. Leanne didn't do herself any favours when she interfered in Smoke and Laura's story but she kept coming back in later books to try to redeem herself. Ryan is something of a mystery, he set Dan up with some super-secret government work - and I'm sure you won't be surprised to hear that he has another connection - apparently he worked with TJ Davenport a few years ago, too. ( I have to be honest, my hesitation with this story is that I just know it's going to kick off another series - of ex-military and special forces types. I love the idea, just don't know when I will ever get around to writing them!
There are other possibilities, but I think one of these three is the most likely to elbow its way to the front of the line. So, let's make it a Giveaway question, shall we? Leave me a comment below about which of these stories you'd like to see first - and why - and that will count as your entry to win a signed paperback copy of Bring on the Night. I'll announce the winner in the newsletter early next month, so make sure you're signed up - you can do that here.
I'm still tapping away at Autumn and Matt's story, Bring on the Night and I'm on track to have it ready for you on May 24th.
In the meantime, lots of readers have been asking if there are going to be new cowboys - and if we'll get to go back and check in with the Remington brothers. The answer is yes - I just don't know when yet. There's a whole bunch of new characters who are growing impatient for a series of their own - but they have to wait their turn.
In the newsletter this week I'm giving away a set of signed paperbacks of all five books in the Remington Ranch series. To enter all you need to do is leave a comment on this post and tell me how you feel about western romances in general - or my Montana men in particular. Just be sure that you're signed up (you can do that here) to receive the newsletter as I'll announce the winner there at the beginning of June.
Hey there! It's been a while since I posted to the blog - if I'm honest, it's been a while since I did much of anything. But I'm trying to get my act together again. I just sent an email to my newsletter readers - which you can see below in case you're not a subscriber.

Sorry you haven't heard from me in a while. I did my occasional falling off the face of the earth thing again. After writing 7 books in 9 months from Marsala and Magnolias in June to Too Much Love to Hide in February, my wrists and fingers decided they needed a break - and then my mind decided it would like to join them - so I've been awol. BUT - I'm back now ;0) and I have lots to tell you about.
First, the most important question is always - when's the next book? And what is it?
And the answer is, it's Autumn and Matt's story. It's called Bring on the Night and it's the first in my new Love in Nashville series. And it's coming May 24th. I had planned to have it out in April for you but remember what I said about my wrists ....? I hope you'll think it's worth the wait.
The fact that I've been hiding out and haven't shown my face on social media or anywhere made me realize that I need to keep at least one line of communication open. If you've been with me for any amount of time, you know that I pull this disappearing act occasionally - and I doubt that will ever change. So, I've decided to make this newsletter the main way I keep in touch - and Commit <--yep, I used the C word ;0) to sending it weekly from now on. Yulp!
If you don't want to hear from me that often, you can choose to only receive emails when I have a new release just click here to sign up and I'll only land in your inbox when I have a new book out.
If you do want to stick with me, I have fun stuff in store for you. I'll get back to doing the monthly giveaway of a signed paperback and have some other prizes in mind too. I'll tell you more about the books as I'm writing them and I'll start sharing with you about freebies and fun stuff from some author friends, too. And if you have any ideas on what you'd like to see from me on a weekly basis just hit reply to this email and let me know - we can build this thing together ;0)
I'm going to keep this one short (for me) and give you a shout again next week when I'll be able to tell you a bit more about Autumn and Matt. In the meantime, you might want to check out this page which lists all the books so far - and will show you which ones you can grab for free at the moment. It lists the books in chronological order because although you don't need to read them that way, I know some people like to.

If you want to receive the new weekly emails you can sign up here.
If you'd rather not have more emails clogging up your inbox - I get it - and I hope to add a post here on the blog weekly too so you can always come and check out if I'm managing to keep up with it ;0)
I'm so excited to be going back to Summer Lake.
My plan for the Seasons series is that you should be able to to read and enjoy it without having read any of the original series - but if you have read them I hope you'll enjoy catching up with old friends. Every series has secondary characters you get to know and love. My hope for Seasons is that you might already know and love them.
Angel and Luke are kicking the series off. They both played secondary roles in earlier stories and now it's their turn to step onto center stage. Luke has liked Angel for a long time. She likes him, too, but she wasn't ready for a relationship when they met and she turned him down so many times that she believes he's given up on her.
Circumstances that they wouldn't have chosen bring them together but it looks like circumstances that Luke did choose will tear them apart.
Release day is Wednesday November 7th and you can preorder your copy at all the usual retailers:

Reid is coming - October 5th
I cannot wait for you to read Reid. I love this one.
He's the youngest Davenport brother and he's about to meet Tara and her son Owen. Owen's a very special little boy and Reid is the perfect man to come into their lives. I'm still smiling about the journey the three of them take to become a family. I hope it'll make you smile, too.
You can check out their page and read the first chapter here

Marcos and Molly's story is out now!
I hope you'll love Marcos and Molly's second chance love story. These two stole my heart and I hope they'll touch yours, too.
I chose today for their release day - August 24 - because it's five years to the day since I published my first book, Emma and Jack in Love Like You've Never Been Hurt. It's hard to believe it's been five years and even harder to believe that this is book number 28!
I want to say thank you for coming on this journey with me, whether this is the first book of mine that you've read - or the twenty eighth.
I started writing to escape to another world. I dreamed up a happy place I could go to and a group of friends I'd like to hang out with. I had no idea that my imaginary friends would keep introducing me to more friends and family who would all want books of their own. Now I have a whole community of people living in my head and waiting for me to write their stories. I'm trying! There are so many books still to come.
To enter this month's giveaway, leave me a comment about whatever you like! Tell me which book or character has been your favourite so far - or which one you're most looking forward to. Tell me how you found the books, how they've touched you or how many you've read - or which other authors you enjoy. I just want to hear from you. These five years have amazed me and I love that my imaginary friends have gone out and made me so many new friends in the real world - you.
I'll announce the winners in next month's newsletter - so make sure you're signed up here - and the prize will be a $50 Gift Certificate to the retailer of the winner's choice and a signed paperback copy of Prosecco and Peonies. I'll also give away some signed Summer Lake paperbacks - so go ahead, leave me a comment ;0)
