I'm still plugging away trying to get the hang of my dictation software. It's getting better - maybe that should be I'm getting better, getting the hang of it. The program is called Dragon and it's very clever, really. I'd go as far as to say I'm making friends with my Dragon now and it's about time he had a name.
I thought it'd be fun for this month's giveaway to see if you can come up with a name for him. So, for your chance to win a signed paperback copy of one of my books - the winner gets to choose which - leave me a comment with a name suggestion. What do you think he should be called? I'll pick the winner next month - make sure you're signed up for the newsletter as I'll announce the winner there.

How about Draco the Dragon? I could be wrong but I think Draco is Latin for Dragon.

Draco was the name of the dragon in the movie "Dragonheart". Voiced by the one & only Sean Connery. Sigh, now if only your dragon had that wonderful Scots rumble.

Rapide - As in Dragon Rapide that was a type of aeroplane a long time ago, back in WW2. As the spell checker feature is very rapid at changing words to what it wants. Not what you are trying to acieve.

Def'NWerd - Def or Def'n for short. Comes from definition (cause maybe he needs you to define the words) and word (being a possible interpretation he might make). Or just cause he's a little 'word deaf'. I totally understand that 'accent' thing having moved around the country as a military brat and now have an indescribable accent no one seems to be able to identify. Ha!Ha!

The Scottish Book Trust give free books to children. They have a symbol of a Bookbug and as someone who tells stories to children through the trust I have a toy Bookbug. I took a photo of it but can’t see how to upload it. Anyway the love of books starts early in life and I love reading, your books especially so thought a play on the Bookbug would be good and you could call yours Bookdragon.
