I'm still tapping away at Autumn and Matt's story, Bring on the Night and I'm on track to have it ready for you on May 24th. 

In the meantime, lots of readers have been asking if there are going to be new cowboys - and if we'll get to go back and check in with the Remington brothers. The answer is yes - I just don't know when yet. There's a whole bunch of new characters who are growing impatient for a series of their own - but they have to wait their turn.

Hey there!It's been a while since I posted to the blog - if I'm honest, it's been a while since I did much of anything. But I'm trying to get my act together again. I just sent an email to my newsletter readers - which you can see below in case you're not a subscriber.

Sorry you haven't heard from me in a while. I did my occasional falling off the face of the earth thing again. After writing 7 books in 9 months from Marsala and Magnolias in June to Too Much Love to Hide in February, my wrists and fingers decided they needed a break - and then my mind decided it would like to join them - so I've been awol. BUT - I'm back now ;0) and I have lots to tell you about.

First, the most important question is always - when's the next book? And what is it? 

And the answer is, it's Autumn and Matt's story. It's called Bring on the Night and it's the first in my new Love in Nashville series. And it's coming May 24th. I had planned to have it out in April for you but remember what I said about my wrists ....? I hope you'll think it's worth the wait. 

The fact that I've been hiding out and haven't shown my face on social media or anywhere made me realize that I need to keep at least one line of communication open. If you've been with me for any amount of time, you know that I pull this disappearing act occasionally - and I doubt that will ever change. So, I've decided to make this newsletter the main way I keep in touch - and Commit <--yep, I used the C word ;0) to sending it weekly from now on. Yulp!

If you do want to stick with me, I have fun stuff in store for you. I'll get back to doing the monthly giveaway of a signed paperback and have some other prizes in mind too. I'm going to keep this one short (for me) and give you a shout again next week when I'll be able to tell you a bit more about Autumn and Matt. In the meantime, you might want to check out this page which lists all the books so far - and will show you which ones you can grab for free at the moment. It lists the books in chronological order because although you don't need to read them that way, I know some people like to.

I'm so excited to be going back to Summer Lake.

My plan for the Seasons series is that you should be able to to read and enjoy it without having read any of the original series - but if you have read them I hope you'll enjoy catching up with old friends. Every series has secondary characters you get to know and love. My hope for Seasons is that you might already know and love them.

Angel and Luke are kicking the series off. They both played secondary roles in earlier stories and now it's their turn to step onto center stage. Luke has liked Angel for a long time. She likes him, too, but she wasn't ready for a relationship when they met and she turned him down so many times that she believes he's given up on her.

Circumstances that they wouldn't have chosen bring them together but it looks like circumstances that Luke did choose will tear them apart.

Reid is coming - October 5th

I started writing to escape to another world. I dreamed up a happy place I could go to and a group of friends I'd like to hang out with. I had no idea that my imaginary friends would keep introducing me to more friends and family who would all want books of their own. Now I have a whole community of people living in my head and waiting for me to write their stories. I'm trying! There are so many books still to come.

TJ, the second of the Davenport brothers, releases tomorrow and I can't wait for you to meet him and his lady, Dani.

TJ's been through a lot. Since he returned from his last tour of duty he's starting to find his feet again. Working at Grace's community center is helping him. He's doing a lot of good behind the scenes working with the other vets. He's not sure about being center stage at the charity bachelor auction, though. Especially when it means being interviewed for a celebrity gossip magazine.

I'm so excited to share this new series with you! Oscar took up residence in my head a couple of years ago. At that time all I knew was that he was a sexy playboy who wanted a book of his own. At first he promised me that he didn't need a series - just a standalone book - that way I could get to him sooner. But since I managed to resist him for a while he latched onto Hope and made brief appearances in Chance's books, and The Wedding Flight.

If you haven't made the connection yet, The Davenports are Hope's cousins. I can't wait for you to get to know them.
