I'm still tapping away at Autumn and Matt's story, Bring on the Night and I'm on track to have it ready for you on May 24th.
In the meantime, lots of readers have been asking if there are going to be new cowboys - and if we'll get to go back and check in with the Remington brothers. The answer is yes - I just don't know when yet. There's a whole bunch of new characters who are growing impatient for a series of their own - but they have to wait their turn. In the newsletter this week I'm giving away a set of signed paperbacks of all five books in the Remington Ranch series. To enter all you need to do is leave a comment on this post and tell me how you feel about western romances in general - or my Montana men in particular. Just be sure that you're signed up (you can do that here) to receive the newsletter as I'll announce the winner there at the beginning of June.

Hey there! It's been a while since I posted to the blog - if I'm honest, it's been a while since I did much of anything. But I'm trying to get my act together again. I just sent an email to my newsletter readers - which you can see below in case you're not a subscriber.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Sorry you haven't heard from me in a while. I did my occasional falling off the face of the earth thing again. After writing 7 books in 9 months from Marsala and Magnolias in June to Too Much Love to Hide in February, my wrists and fingers decided they needed a break - and then my mind decided it would like to join them - so I've been awol. BUT - I'm back now ;0) and I have lots to tell you about. First, the most important question is always - when's the next book? And what is it? And the answer is, it's Autumn and Matt's story. It's called Bring on the Night and it's the first in my new Love in Nashville series. And it's coming May 24th. I had planned to have it out in April for you but remember what I said about my wrists ....? I hope you'll think it's worth the wait. The fact that I've been hiding out and haven't shown my face on social media or anywhere made me realize that I need to keep at least one line of communication open. If you've been with me for any amount of time, you know that I pull this disappearing act occasionally - and I doubt that will ever change. So, I've decided to make this newsletter the main way I keep in touch - and Commit <--yep, I used the C word ;0) to sending it weekly from now on. Yulp! If you don't want to hear from me that often, you can choose to only receive emails when I have a new release just click here to sign up and I'll only land in your inbox when I have a new book out. If you do want to stick with me, I have fun stuff in store for you. I'll get back to doing the monthly giveaway of a signed paperback and have some other prizes in mind too. I'll tell you more about the books as I'm writing them and I'll start sharing with you about freebies and fun stuff from some author friends, too. And if you have any ideas on what you'd like to see from me on a weekly basis just hit reply to this email and let me know - we can build this thing together ;0) I'm going to keep this one short (for me) and give you a shout again next week when I'll be able to tell you a bit more about Autumn and Matt. In the meantime, you might want to check out this page which lists all the books so far - and will show you which ones you can grab for free at the moment. It lists the books in chronological order because although you don't need to read them that way, I know some people like to. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ If you want to receive the new weekly emails you can sign up here. If you'd rather not have more emails clogging up your inbox - I get it - and I hope to add a post here on the blog weekly too so you can always come and check out if I'm managing to keep up with it ;0) I'm so excited to be going back to Summer Lake. My plan for the Seasons series is that you should be able to to read and enjoy it without having read any of the original series - but if you have read them I hope you'll enjoy catching up with old friends. Every series has secondary characters you get to know and love. My hope for Seasons is that you might already know and love them. Angel and Luke are kicking the series off. They both played secondary roles in earlier stories and now it's their turn to step onto center stage. Luke has liked Angel for a long time. She likes him, too, but she wasn't ready for a relationship when they met and she turned him down so many times that she believes he's given up on her. Circumstances that they wouldn't have chosen bring them together but it looks like circumstances that Luke did choose will tear them apart. Release day is Wednesday November 7th and you can preorder your copy at all the usual retailers: Amazon US Amazon UK Amazon CA Amazon AUS Google Play B&N Kobo Apple iBooks I'm running another giveaway in the newsletter this month. I hope you'll love Marcos and Molly's second chance love story. These two stole my heart and I hope they'll touch yours, too. I chose today for their release day - August 24 - because it's five years to the day since I published my first book, Emma and Jack in Love Like You've Never Been Hurt. It's hard to believe it's been five years and even harder to believe that this is book number 28! I want to say thank you for coming on this journey with me, whether this is the first book of mine that you've read - or the twenty eighth. I started writing to escape to another world. I dreamed up a happy place I could go to and a group of friends I'd like to hang out with. I had no idea that my imaginary friends would keep introducing me to more friends and family who would all want books of their own. Now I have a whole community of people living in my head and waiting for me to write their stories. I'm trying! There are so many books still to come. To enter this month's giveaway, leave me a comment about whatever you like! Tell me which book or character has been your favourite so far - or which one you're most looking forward to. Tell me how you found the books, how they've touched you or how many you've read - or which other authors you enjoy. I just want to hear from you. These five years have amazed me and I love that my imaginary friends have gone out and made me so many new friends in the real world - you. I'll announce the winners in next month's newsletter - so make sure you're signed up here - and the prize will be a $50 Gift Certificate to the retailer of the winner's choice and a signed paperback copy of Prosecco and Peonies. I'll also give away some signed Summer Lake paperbacks - so go ahead, leave me a comment ;0) TJ, the second of the Davenport brothers, releases tomorrow and I can't wait for you to meet him and his lady, Dani. TJ's been through a lot. Since he returned from his last tour of duty he's starting to find his feet again. Working at Grace's community center is helping him. He's doing a lot of good behind the scenes working with the other vets. He's not sure about being center stage at the charity bachelor auction, though. Especially when it means being interviewed for a celebrity gossip magazine. If you want a sneak peek, you can read the first chapter here We have another giveaway to celebrate. The prize is a $50 Amazon Gift Card and a signed paperback copy of TJ. To enter leave me a comment below and tell me what you'd like to see more of in my newsletter! I'll give you some options to start you off, but feel free to come up with suggestions of your own. A. More insight into the stories and writing process B. More about SJ C. More about sales and releases from other authors D. Something else .... you tell me! The winner will be announced in next month's newsletter, so make sure you're signed up here! I'm so excited to share this new series with you! Oscar took up residence in my head a couple of years ago. At that time all I knew was that he was a sexy playboy who wanted a book of his own. At first he promised me that he didn't need a series - just a standalone book - that way I could get to him sooner. But since I managed to resist him for a while he latched onto Hope and made brief appearances in Chance's books, and The Wedding Flight. If you haven't made the connection yet, The Davenports are Hope's cousins. I can't wait for you to get to know them. They're a little different from my other series - they're definitely not small town guys. They're more in the sexy billionaire league, but as you'd expect from me, there's still the backdrop of family and friendships and warm and fuzzies ;0) Today is the official Cover Reveal day, I've been so excited to share this. I hope you'll love Oscar. There's another giveaway in the newsletter this time. If you're not signed up you can do so here - the newsletter is the only place the winner will be announced. For your chance to win a $50 Amazon Gift Card and a signed paperback copy of Oscar, leave a comment and tell me which kind of hero you prefer - In Oscar's own words he's "the suit" (a billionaire businessman) TJ is "the uniform" (ex special forces) and Reid is "the geek" (a reclusive computer programmer / writer) Which one sounds most appealing to you? Happy New Year!
Absentee writer person reporting for duty! I've been aiming for every two weeks, and this time it's been two months - I did warn you I wasn't cut out to be a blogger! But I had to come tell you that Champagne and Daisies is out today! I love Chelsea and Grant and hope you will too! You can read the blurb and grab a copy here |
