I'm Late!!! Hey lovelies. :0) I'm so sorry I'm late again. I said I'd announce the winner of the signed paperback on Friday and it totally slipped my mind - I hope you'll forgive me - I was busy tapping away at Four Weddings and a Vendetta. I can't wait to share it with you! I figured to make up for it I'd get the random thingy to pick three winners again. And the winners are...... Amanda, Pamela, and Elaine
Check your email ladies, I'll need your address to get your copy in the mail to you. Thanks to everyone for taking part and I'll giveaway another signed copy of Mason next weekend. (It'll be a separate post, so go check it out if you didn't win this time.) It shouldn't be tooo long now before I'll have all of Remington Ranch in paperback and will be able to give away copies of those too! ;0)

I might be getting the hang of this blogging thing. Today I'm doing two posts! If you missed the the other one, it was to announce the winners of last week's giveaway, so make sure you check it out. I'll be giving away another signed paperback edition of Mason at the end of this post, so if you don't want to read my ramblings, just skip to the end and go enter ;0) I wanted to let you know where I'm up to - now I've got a bit of clue myself. I've been seeing some questions that surprised me lately, questions about things I thought were known. So obviously I've not been doing a very good job of keeping you up to speed. Sorry, and this is me stating an intention to try to do better in future - if you don't already know, I am commitment-phobic so stating an intention is less scary than, say, making a promise ;0) First and foremost is - what's happening with the books? What's coming next and when? Taking deep, calming breaths here, because this feels an awful lot like making a commitment, I'm going to tell you what I see coming over the next few months. Just remember this picture as you read the rest of this post - it's how things usually work in my world, though I'm trying to do better. I hope you already know that I'm working on Remington Ranch Book Five at the moment. It's called Four Weddings and a Vendetta, so there shouldn't be too many mysteries as to what it's about. I'm aiming to get it out in mid-November. I'll shout about the date as soon as I dare. I just hate letting you down if I mess up and don't get there in time. I'd rather leave you dangling than set you up with an expectation and then fail to deliver. After that will be Summer Lake Book Eleven. And I've decided to be brave and tell you that it's called Ride Like You've Never Fallen. It's Nate and Lily's story and I can't wait to share that one with you. That should be coming out mid-December, just before Christmas. After that I'm going straight on to Summer Lake Twelve, Ben's story, and the end of the original Summer Lake series. There's so much I need to say about that one, but I think I need to do a separate post next week to tell you all about it. For now, I'll say - yes, he does get his happily-ever-after. It will come out in late February. The reason I've put it off so long is that I've always seen his story as the end of the series. And although it will be the end of the original series, it won't be the last time we'll visit the lake. I think that's enough to answer the big questions, for now. After Ben, I'm finally going to write Chance's series. That guy has been waiting, not so patiently for two and a half years. He has a lot of story to tell. I cannot wait to write it. It will be three books that will all come out next spring / early summer. I'm not going to publish the first one until they're all written and ready to go, and I plan to publish them one after the other about a month apart. Eesh, I've got shaky hands now! It feels like I've just made a bunch of commitments that I now have to live up to. But in reality these are all the goals in my head, they're things I want to share with you, so why not say them out loud? Yulp. And on that note, I'll love you and leave you in peace. It's Friday and I believe I have earned a glass of wine ;0) I hope you have a lovely weekend, and don't forget, I'll be giving away another signed paperback copy of Mason. I'll select the winner by Random and post it here next Friday, October 21. To enter just leave a comment below and tell me - or ask me - whatever you like ;0) Wow! Thank you! You know, when I posted the giveaway contest for Mason last week, I had no idea how many people - if anyone - would enter. I'm stunned by all the lovely comments. Thank you all soooo much. I'd set this contest up to select a winner by Random, as there's no way I would be able to choose one comment over the others. And now I want so many winners. So I'm going to run it again this week. I'll make it a separate post so we don't get muddled. I'd better stop my rambling and get on and tell you who the winner is, huh? Ok, drumroll please.... The winner is...........Karen Brimble But you know, looking through all those entries and reading all those lovely comments, I decided to ask the random selector thingy to also pick two more winners ;0) and it selected Faye Pereira and Kim Oilar Congratulations to all three of you! Watch your email for a message from me and Mason will be winging his way to you very soon. For everyone who didn't win this time, thanks again for taking part and make sure you check the blog for another chance. Win a Signed Paperback of Mason!
Hi there. I still don't have the hang of this bloggy thing, but I'm trying. I figure to make up for the fact that I missed last week completely and almost missed this week, I should giveaway a signed paperback copy of Mason. It can only be Mason since he's still the only one available in paperback, but I'm working on changing that and his brothers are getting ready to join him in print over the coming months ;0) (See, I am busy really, I've got paperbacks in the works, AND audio books too, as well as tapping away at Four Weddings and a Vendetta.) So, this post is just a short and sweet one. Leave me a comment and tell me why you'd like to win. I'll select a winner on Thursday 13 October at 9pm EST and announce it here on Friday 14th - yes, I will come back and do a post. |
