I chose today for their release day - August 24 - because it's five years to the day since I published my first book, Emma and Jack in Love Like You've Never Been Hurt. It's hard to believe it's been five years and even harder to believe that this is book number 28!

I want to say thank you for coming on this journey with me, whether this is the first book of mine that you've read - or the twenty eighth.

I started writing to escape to another world. I dreamed up a happy place I could go to and a group of friends I'd like to hang out with. I had no idea that my imaginary friends would keep introducing me to more friends and family who would all want books of their own. Now I have a whole community of people living in my head and waiting for me to write their stories. I'm trying! There are so many books still to come.
